mantastic: liquor cabinets

Is there anything better than a liquor cabinet in terms of home furnishings? Some of you might push the “couch” thing, whine about your unceasing ‘need’ for a surface upon which to “eat,” or moan about the arduous and unreasonable existence brought about by a life without a “bed.” Well, gentlemen, you are wrong. Your main priorities when furnishing your abode should be A.) acquiring a nice liquor cabinet, and B.) stocking your prized piece. For liquor cabinets are not only good at storing alcohol attractively, but they function as conversation pieces as well. Perhaps, for some of you, it may spark conversation with a lovely young lady about the beautiful materials used in the piece or the skilled craftsmanship that went into its creation. For others, conversations about drinking, promptly followed up by actual drinking. Yes, it is a slippery slope and a beautiful trap.  Every mention, touch, or even gaze in the general direction of the cabinet can draw a welcome opportunity to offer a drink. It’s the best of both worlds, really. I’d be hard pressed to think of two things I like better than liquor and cabinetry. The combination of the two leaves me unable to type and further. Now get out there and obtain wisely.

I have to agree, a very necessary addition to any abode. It’s much more attractive than just having bottles of Jagermeister sitting on the counter like in college.

Also, guys, let’s stop taking every bottle we’ve finished off and putting it on top of the cabinets like a degenerate version of a stamp collection we should be proud of. Go green and recycle those bottles!
