white jeans in the winter

There something about white jeans that is always a bit tricky. For one, they’re white and they’re jeans. Really takes the casual out of casual because now you have to watch where you sit and you can’t wipe your greasy hands off on your thighs. Secondly, and probably the biggest drawback is how much of a scene-stealer they tend to be. I mean, your legs are glistening white.. pretty hard for the eye to take in at once. The name of the game here is to tone it down enough with safe, earthy colors or basics like navy and keep the white pant reigned in.

I love this navy cardigan, however it comes with a tie-around belt. Sounds bad? Yea, it is a little too much. Men don’t like to wrap their stomachs in bows, sorry. Luckily, it appears to detach rather easily as the front shot does not show the belt at all. My inspiration? Sartorialist, again.

I have a pair of white corduroys that I wear year round. Never had a problem with them and they look great.
